July 1 - Updated the archives. Been moving one of my daughters all week - no time.
July 3 - Added a page called Norwood Arena Drivers at Catamount. Pretty self - explanatory. If I missed some guys, let me know.
July 5 - I want to give a shout out to Historical Aerials. Com, a website where you can purchase aerial photos - some as early as the 1950's. I hope they aren't going to be too upset that I borrowed a few of their wares to show the sites of abandoned tracks like Dog River Speedway, the track at East Corinth, VT, Stateline Speedway, and the Davis Speedway. More to come.
July 8 - Talk about being too focused on ones' work. I just discovered this sketch I had made of Bill Auer's Pinot modified from Long Island. That was about thirty years ago. Only this past winter do I realize, thanks to the HAMB message board, that there was a naked girl in the background of one of the photos I used. I really need to get out more. Also, added to the famous "Me .... and" page.

July 11 - Added an aerial photo to the
Norwood Arena Drivers at Catamount. Hope to
do more, if I can get this pesky railing job done at my wife's care home. I have
also taken Skip May's photos from his collection and some from other sources and
made the George May Family Photos page. I added
an aerial view photo to the Brattleboro Speedway
page. I also decided to do a page on the St. Lawrence
Valley Speedway, in Canton, NY. About 3/4 of the way through this, I
realized I already had a section on the
Northern NY Drivers, Tracks, and
Teams page on the same track. The site is so big I lose track of what is
there sometimes.
July 12 - Added some photos from Ed Gould to the the Track at
West Lebanon, NH - on the New Hampshire Tracks
page..
July 19 - After a visit to and conversation with Zene Garnsey, whose grandfather operated the Hudson River Speedway in Schuylerville, NY, I realized my Argyle Racing Team page had no link on the All Links Page. So, that is now rectified. There will also be a Hudson River Speedway [also called Fort Hardy Park] soon.
July 20 - Added the page for the Hudson River Speedway in Schuylerville, NY.
July 22 - Check out the page for the Victoria Speedway, in Dunnsville, NY.
July 25 - I added a link on the Steve Pecor Final Days of Catamount page to access a page of some of his other photo contributions.
