NEWS & UPDATES
Feb 2 - I added more photos to the All Star League page. It is about all I have the League right now. I added some information to the page called Chris Companion Photos, which is actually all shots with subject matter I can't indentify. Thanks for your help. I also did this for the Who Dem ? page. Thanks again.
Feb 7 - The next blog is up: Weekly.Blog.Feb7, 2014- Some Real Characters in Early Racing.
Feb 8 - I added even more photos to the All Star League page.
Feb 11 - I added a few more photos to the All Star League page. Added a photo to the Announcer's Stand page. Added Langhorne, East Windsor, South Seneca, Westboro, Devil's Bowl, Flemington, Plainville, Satan's Bowl O' Death, New Gloucester, ME, and Vernon to the Aerial Views page.
Feb 12 - I had a fun thing happen today. It's the kind of thing that makes the hours of strained eyes and stiff necks from working off the computer worth it. In 1962, I was at a race at the old Otter Creek Speedway with my uncle, whereupon I happened to snap a color shot of a car whose team had come all the way from Connecticut ot try their luck at that rustic little NASCAR track. For these 52 years, I have never known who that car was. I had thought, at that time, the somewhat indistinct PA system had indentified him as George Stevens. This morning, I was going through photos connected with one of the southern New England tracks when - lo and behold - there was that car ! It turned out to be Joe Tiezzi, and the car belong to John Narducci, father of Ronnie [who, I had just met this past November]. Very cool. If somebody looking at this knows Tiezzi, please show him this, see if he remembers the trip. I'd love to have him email me. I added even more photos to the All Star League page.

Feb 14 - The next blog is up: Weekly Blog February 14, 2014 - about a Fonda backmarker named Doc Nellis.
Feb 15 - I added a page called Dontcha Hate It When That Happens ? Typical race situations we could all do without.
Feb 17 - I added to a page called The Evolution of the Race Car.
Feb 20 - To try out the new computer [which will not use my present program I use to do the site] I have been working on a large page called Maine Race Tracks. I brought it over to this older computer so I could get what I have done so far onto the site. It is a lot of work and there is much more to do. Tracks like Beech Ridge, Unity, and Oxford have too many images to handle. Obscure tracks have none. It can be a pretty vexing job sometimes. Enjoy.
Feb 21 - One week to go in February, and Daytona is soon ! Yay ! I added a page on Lakeville Speedway, but I could use more material.
Feb 22 - Russ Farr, thanks for the photos. I can't find you in my email system. If you contact me, I'll have you in there again. Check out the Fairmont Speedway page. I did some of it.
Feb 25 - I added more photos to the All Star League page. Added many more shots to the Rene Charland page, as well.
