July 1 - Work
continues on Devil's Bowl. Actually may be done by tomorrow. Will also update
and archive.
July 4 -
Work continues on Devil's Bowl page[s]. I went over the
Racing Rogers Family page and made
repairs. However, I cannot find any reference on that page to a flathead motor
[which George would have despised]. If anyone knows where that reference is, I
wish they'd help me. I will archive today if it kills me.
July 9 - Work continues on the Devil's Bowl section, that is currently at 10 separate pages. It is not the culmination of over 20 hours of work - it is still in progress but you can look at at it now. Just off the top of my head, I need people to email photos of Pete Hillis' and George Morse's late models - especially from the West Haven Speedway days. USE THE LINKS ON THE FIRST DEVIL"S BOWL PAGE DONE IN THIS FONT TO ACCESS THE NEW LOOK PAGES.
July 16 - Work continues on the Devil's Bowl section, that is currently at 12 separate pages. I will probably stop that now for a couple of reasons, including time to do another blog. Weekly Blog July 16, 2018 - That Couldn't Happen Today.
July 17 - Did
work on the page Vermonters Who Tried the Big Time, which is actually about all
Northeastern drivers who tried some form of NASCAR's big leagues. I added people
and fixed broken links. Sadly it leaves out the Wally Dallenbachs and Bill
Alsups, who went to USAC. I can't handle everything. I also added some more
people to the Then and Now page, which shows racing
figures as yonng as I could find them and much later in their lives. I have
sadly had to add the names of Gardiner Leavitt and Shany Lorenzet to the
Racing People We Have Lost Since
the 2016 Season page.
July 22 - Did

July 25 - I Did a page on Maine's Dick McCabe, the Irish Angel.
