Sep 8 - I've Been on an extensive vacation - often without good internet, for my brother's wedding. Still have the house painting project as well. As it gets cooler and we have shorter days, I'll get back to more site work. Thanks for your support. Keep checking please. -Bill Incidentally, I am supposed to be on VPR at noon on the 10th of September to do a program [Vermont Edition with Sam Gale Rosen]on the history of racing in Vermont. I hope it works out that I can do it. I am sorry I missed the last racing at Airborne for the year, but those 12 days on vacation along with Saturday being a prime painting day on the house kind of ruined it for that track. I regret not seeing my friends. There may still be an ACT race, I hope so. Oops, looks like I even missed that. Somebody warn me if I misread the track site. I also continue to struggle with my internet connections. Could be malware. None of this is conducive to getting out many site changes.
Sep 10 - I've added some shots to the Milton Speedway / Vermonster page, thanks to Frankie Woodard. I will be on VPR today at noon for a 40 minute show about racing in Vermont. I've also managed to get out another blog - September10, 2015 on Al Romano, a figure in Rutland County Vermont racing for two decades.
Sep 22 - We have lost a great competitor and man in the death of Leon Gonyo. By now, you all know the details.To honor him, I did up Weekly Blog September 22, 2015 - Called Go Get 'Em, Ol' Man, in deference to a common comment called out to him by crew members as he would head out to race.
Sep 30 - I have been fussing around with the Devil's Bowl page for quite a while, having acquired photos from Facebook and other places. I can put that up now. I hope I have made myself clear that I won't be doing a lot with the site until the weather gets too bad to work on the house any more. Sorry. *
