- Sadly added the name of Dave Lape to my Racing People We
Have Lost Since 2016 2 page. I will get more done on the site when we have
lost this nice weather, where I can get work done on the house. A big hello to
Bob Kilburn. I also archived today.
September 14 - Finally, I got another Weekly Blog done - Weekly Blog September 13, 2022 - Racin' In Places They Maybe Shouldn't. I apologize to people who look in on the site regularly. The nice weather notwithstanding, doing blogs right now is doubly hard. The program on which I have prepared blogs is acting up. In order to put one up on the site now, I have to take a fully - typed piece and completely retype it. Takes forever.
September 16 - After dozens and dozens of hours of work I finally can put up the SCODA page. The Sports Car Owners and Drivers Association put on a show at my local fair and I always remembered them. The club gets almost no attention to its history despite supplying two Indy drivers among its graduates. Enjoy.
September 24 - After finding that the lower section of the Fonda Speedway page had several broken links - I have repaired them. There are a lot of neat old photos in that section.
September 30 - Finally, I got another Weekly Blog done. Weekly Blog September 30, 2022 - A Suddenly Found Cavalcade Page.
October 14 - Before I even manged to archive, I got another weekly blog done. Weekly Blog October 16, 2022 - C.J. Sure Had the Knack. [about promoter CJ Richards].
October 23 - I think I am going to start archiving two months at a time. I just completed a page on famed Fonda car owner Frank Trinkhaus - in between numerous other family obligations.
November 1 - I fought considerably with the overly -large Maine Race Tracks pages. I finally had to give Unity Raceway its own due to sheer size. This required an ungodly amount of re-working. I will link you to that page.
