Latest Update

Oct  9  -        I did the next blog early. Weekly Blog October 14, 2017 - about the old Morrisville, VT track. Will archive when I have time.

Oct  14  -     I finally did the archiving [forgot]. I also made extensive improvements and additions to the Maine Race Tracks page.  My aplologies to the Maine people - I didn't realize my best version of tbhis page was not the one that was up on the site. By the way, thanks to Paul Mascitti for sending those materials on Northeastern Speedway.

Oct  16  -     I made corrections and additions to the Roger Dutton page. Tom Clark, if you check this regularly, thabnks for the program. My email completely lost your email [it's not in the inbox, the trash, or anywhere]. I may have manageed to save the attachments you sent. BTW, I got an email from a Middlebury COllege professor who acquired some 8MM footage of some racing "in the Middlebury area". It's clearly late '40's, with some sprinters and some early stock cars. It cannot be Otter Creek Speedway, as that didn't begin until 1961. Middlebury once had a fairgrounds track about where mary Hogan school is. I will put up a few frames from that 8MM footage. Any ideas ? I think the yellow sprint car is almost certainly Jackie Peterson.

The yellow car on  the might be Jackie Peterson. The black one could possibly be the Eddie Elliott car wit hKenny Gallup driving.

Two stock cars come out of turn two. Two of the stock cars looked like stock cars. Two others looked like ordinary old
cars.

coupe in action.

The silver coupe, in action, looked most like a stock car.

The third stock car, a sedan
is very hard to make out. It
looks like an ordinary early '30's car, period.

one. These appear to be stockers.

Oct  17  -     I made corrections and additions to the Bear Ridge Speedway page.

Oct  22  -     I made corrections and additions to the Amazing Joey Lawrence page.

Oct  27  -     I put up the next blog - Weekly Blog Oct. 27, 2017 - It Started With a Simple 7. This is about certain star drivers whose first cars were No. 7's.
