January 5 - I
still have to archive, but I made additions to the
Bernies 71 page, a page I had named before I learned the car was actually
owned by Dick Bennett. I want to wish everyone
a Happy New Year. Let's hope it goes better than the last one, although,
considering the b--sh-- happening in Washington today, ti hasn't started very
well.
January 8 - I am hoping that right person happens to check in this month and reads this. I had a person send me a fantastic old album of materials and photos on the Empire Raceway, in Menands, NY. The album focuses on the late 1940's and has a mind - boggling amount of research effort in it. My damned email system has lost the email from that person. I'd like to know again who made this wonderful contribution which I intend to start scanning soon. Several of the autographs are made out to "Fran", if that helps any. I found out later it belonged to Fran Waters.
January 13 - I am actually getting the latest blog out in two weeks' time, which I rarely manage. Weekly Blog January 13, 2021 - Wearers of Many Hats - Drivers who raced in mutilple divisions.
January 20 - I added a page on the 1959 Salt City Race at Syracuse. it is all 8MM film captures, so a lot of the photos aren't all that clear. I also discovered I had made a page called Second Tier Race Tracks in New York that I never put up online. Duh
January 22 - I added material to the All Star League page. It was mostly near the bottom or in the 1973 and 1967 sections.

January 29 - I have nearly completed a big upgrade to the Fonda Speedway page[s]. Now, the main Fonda page has links to get you to four other pages: Later Fonda Speedway [mostly 60's to 70's]; Fonda Late Models; Grand Nationals races at Fonda; and The Page featuring the 1955 Fonda Final points list.
February 3 - I have added some names to the Notable Drivers and Their First Cars page. I also have to do some extensive archiving.
